An Ayurvedic stay in the tranquillity of nature
Toyam Resort is the second option for an Ayurvedic stay under the guidance of the Atharva Ayurveda team. Unlike the urban Ayurvedgram in Pune, where you stay in a hotel or apartment and travel to the clinic, Toyam is a residential resort: accommodation, meals, treatments, yoga and the rest of the programme all take place in the same place.
The resort lies away from the bustle of Pune, in a peaceful natural setting by a lake about an hour's drive from the city. Its wooden cottages surrounded by greenery make it easy to reduce outside distractions during Panchakarma and devote the time to treatment, rest and regeneration.
Panchakarma under individual medical supervision
As at Ayurvedgram, the programme begins with a consultation and Nadi Pariksha, traditional pulse diagnosis. The therapies are not fixed; the doctor selects them according to your condition, constitution and needs. A minimum stay of 10 days is recommended for Panchakarma, with 14- and 21-day programmes available. For a shorter regenerative stay there is a 7- or 14-day De-Stress Programme.
Meals according to your constitution
The programme includes three sattvic meals a day, adapted to your Ayurvedic constitution and treatment. Food is treated as an integral part of the therapy rather than a hospitality extra, so treatments, diet and a balanced daily routine form one programme.
Yoga, meditation and a traditional ritual
Yoga and meditation complement the treatment and support relaxation and inner balance. The standard package also includes a one-day Havan Yag, a traditional Vedic fire ritual that the centre incorporates as a purifying element.
